Mini Sudoku No. 5
Fill every row, column, and 2×3 box with the digits 1–6. Tap a square, then tap a number. For added fun, have someone else scan, solve, and see who is faster. No cheating!
0:00The clock starts with your first move.
How to solve it
- The goal
- Fill all 36 squares so that every row, every column, and every 2×3 box holds the digits 1–6 — once each, no repeats anywhere.
- The grid
- Six rows and six columns, split by the heavier lines into six boxes of six squares.14 numbers are printed for you and can't be changed; the other 22 squares are yours to fill.
- Making a move
- Tap an empty square so it highlights, then tap a number below the grid. Tap a different number to change your mind, or Erase to clear the square.
- Mistakes
- Any digit that repeats in its row, column, or box turns red. That catches repeats, not every wrong guess — a digit in the wrong square can look legal until it blocks the rest. Switch Mistakes to hidden if you'd rather check your own work.
- The clock
- It starts on your first move and stops the moment the grid is correct. Racing a friend? Each phone keeps its own time.
- Stuck
- Give up — show solution prints the finished grid and stops the clock, so no time is recorded. Start over returns the starting grid and resets the clock.
- A way in
- Work the row, column, or box that already holds the most numbers. The digit missing there has fewer and fewer places it can go.
